Let me give you a bit of an insight into myself and my business. 

 

My name is Kayley. I am the founder of Kayley’s Dread Shed. The inspiration for this business sparked with the beginning of my dreadlock journey in the summer of 2019. This spark turned into a burning passion for dreadlocks and the change they can make in your life. Dreadlocks were one of the best changes I could have made to my own life, I finally found a hair style that expresses my personality.  

 

I take a lot of joy from this life, but one of my biggest passions is art. I even have an honours degree in fine art.  Colour, creativity, and expressing myself through visual aspects have always been a big part of my life. I love expressing my personality in my style, and dreadlocks have been one of the best ways to achieve that. Dreadlocks give me so much confidence to finally fully express my personality through my looks. Plus, dreadlocks are so easy to take care of, and every day is a good hair day.  

 

I want to collaborate with each client to create the perfect hairstyle while adding my artistic twist to each unique set, so you can have a boost in confidence and feel in love with your new hair. I pour my heart and soul into every one of my creations. I believe in adding a unique sparkle to every one of my works.

I am also very conscious about the environment and our beautiful mother earth. So I source my materials and supplies as ethically as possible and reuse or repurpose materials like wood and packing materials to reduce my business' footprint.
